GLAD refers God's Literally Awesome Diet, and it is based on biblical teaching and common sense.
The letters C-U-R-E-S introduce five strategies to help you eat GLAD, and 65 movement activities you can do at home to improve your flexibility, strength, and endurance.
GLAD Diet and Exercise CURES are biblically inspired, budget conscious, and basically anti-inflammatory.
Most people have the desire to experience better health. Many don't realize that wholesome foods and avenues for physical activity that lead to better health are part of God's created order. In talks that I offer to student and adult groups I use the word GLAD to introduce God's Literally Awesome Diet. It stands in contrast to the SAD (Standard American Diet) that is less healthy and too often over-consumed.
The letters C-U-R-E-S are also used by me to teach a set of 65 safe, simple and effective exercises a person can do at home and that require no special equipment. GLAD Diet and Exercise C-U-R-E-S combine to help you:
C – Combat chronic conditions
U – Utilize GLAD foods effectively
R – Reduce junk food cravings
E – Enjoy exercise, and
S – Strengthen your immune system
