Tim Erson is a 1984 graduate of Columbia University's Program in Physical Therapy. He has spent half his career in pediatrics and half working with adults in a variety of settings. His classroom fitness program for children with special needs received a Promising Practices Award from the Texas Education Agency's Early Childhood Institute and has been presented by him to more than 5,000 teachers and therapists in 29 states and Mexico. Tim is a former Peace Corps Volunteer and a lifetime member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association. He enjoys being outdoors and competes regularly in community races and trail running events. As a lecturer he speaks about practical strategies that anyone can use in any place and at any time to improve their physical health. He and his wife Paula have three adult children.
Tim offers an his program to local churches, Sunday School groups and student groups for free.
Individuals who want to meet with Tim Erson one-on-one for diet and exercise counseling/coaching can do so for $40.00 per hour.

Travel expenses may be requested for distances greater than 50 miles, and/or assistance may be requested to cover the cost of handouts for groups of 40 or more.
A GLAD Diet and Exercise Health Talk by Tim Erson lasts 45 to 90 minutes depending on the depth of information a group is seeking. For participants who want to practice the exercise portion of the talk it is recommended that they wear comfortable clothing and bring a roll-up exercise mat. Almost all of the movements can be done while seated or while standing beside a chair. Participation in any of the exercise activities taught by Tim is optional and to be done at each attendee's own comfort level and risk. Individuals should make sure that a qualified healthcare practitioner has cleared him/her to perform moderate physical exercise/activity. Participants must also sign a waiver indicating that they assume any and all risks.
